NVIDIA, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, saw its revenue grow from $5.1 billion in 2018 to $18.9 billion in 2022, investing over $8 billion in AI R&D during that period. Its three flagship inventions are the Jetson edge-AI modules, the CUDA parallel-compute platform and the Drive AGX automotive AI system. In development are DRIVE Thor (next-gen autonomous compute) and Omniverse ACE (AI-powered simulation toolkit).
