Waymo, spun out of Google’s self-driving car project in 2016 and based in Mountain View, California, has secured over $3 billion in investment and generated an estimated $150 million in revenue over the last five years. Its flagship technologies are the Waymo Driver platform, Firefly driverless taxi and Jaguar I-Pace Waymo edition. Upcoming initiatives include Waymo Via (autonomous freight) and a next-gen robo-taxi prototype.
